Santa Marina is situated in the Bourgas Bay, the biggest bay on the the Bulgarian south coast of the Black Sea. The resort stands 32 km south from the city of Bourgas, the city that hosts Bulgaria`s biggest airports. The nearest town to Santa Marina is Sozopol, situated on a rocky peninsula. A highway, leading to the national border with Turkey, connects the entrance of Santa Marina with the rest of the world. While the site has north-east orientation, the southern and western parts are situated in a woodland, carrying the name Sveta Marina (Saint Marina).
