Bulgaria has 40,000 cultural monuments, putting the country beside countries like India

Sofia. Bulgaria has 40,000 cultural monuments, Georgi Ugrinov, Director of the National Cultural Monuments Institute said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency .
According to him the monuments are administrative and home buildings, archeological monuments, monasteries, churches. Ugrinov noted that this number was large, cince this was the number of cultural monuments in India, where the area is significantly larger and the culture – richer.
