The Bacho Kiro cave (Bulgarian: пещера „Бачо Киро“) is situated 5 kilometers west of the town Dryanovo, Bulgaria, only 300 meters away from the Dryanovo Monastery. It is embedded in the exquisit canyons of the Andaka and Dryanovo River. The first tourists entered the cave in 1938, two years before it was actually called the Bacho Kiro cave after the Bulgarian National Revival enlightener Bacho Kiro. The cave is a four-storey labyrinth of galleries and corridors with a total length of 3,600 metres, 700 metres of which are maintained for tourists` attraction.

Uhlovitsa (Bulgarian: Ухловица) is the name of a cave in the Blue Pools Area (Bulgarian: Mестността „Сините вирове“, or Mestnostta "Sinite virove") in the Smolyan Province of the Rhodope Mountains, southern Bulgaria. The cave is close to the Mogilitsa village and 37 and 47km away from Pamporovo and Chepelare respectively. About 3000 tourists visit the cave every year.
Uhlovitsa is about 460m long, 330km out of which are well-explored and developed. It is situated 1040 metres above the sea level. The average temperature is about 10-11°C.
A lot of corallites can be found in the cave, as well as an impressive Icefall at its end.
The cave was discovered in 1967 by Dimitar and Georgi Raichev. The name Uhlovitsa comes from the word "улулица", meaning Strix.

Snezhanka (Bulgarian: Снежанка, "Snow White") is a cave located in the Rhodope Mountains, some 5 km away from the town of Peshtera, southern Bulgaria. In modern times it was discovered in 1961. Despite its low negotiability (about half an hour uphill), some of the most beautiful cave formations in Bulgaria can be seen inside. The cave is relatively small. It is only 145 metres long, with a constant annual temperature of 6°C, and was formed by the Novomahlenska River 3.5 million years ago.
The cave is rich in stalactites, stalagmites, draperies and little sinter lakes. It consists of several beautiful halls: Udders Hall, The Large Hall, The Music Hall, linked by the Toppling over which a metal bridge runs. In the Wonderful Hall, built by snow-white crystal sinter, nature has shaped a figure, often likened to the fairy tale character Snow White, after which the cave was named.
In the middle of the cave there are circular hearths, where animal bones and artifacts dating back to early Iron Age were discovered. The Thracians used the cave as a refuge from their enemies.
Snezhanka is among the 100 National Touristic Places of the Bulgarian Touristic Union. It is electrified and appropriate for tourism.

Ledenika (Леденика) is a cave in the Northwestern parts of the Balkan Mountains, 16km away from the Bulgarian town of Vratsa, its entrance being at 830m above sea level. It features an abundance of galleries and impressive Karst formations — stalactites and stalagmites, dating back a thousand years. The cave is about 300m long. There are ten halls in it. The biggest one is the Concert Hall. The way to it is through the Passage of Sinners. Only those whose heart is pure can pass through it. Once the cave was full of water but now only a small lake has remained - the Lake of Wishes. The legend says that if you dip your hand in the ice-cold water of the lake and make a wish, it will come true.
The first hall (the lowest part of the cave) is the Antechamber. In winter and springtime this hall enchants with its ice crystal decoration that the cave is named after (“led” in Bulgarian means “ice”). For a few metres – through the Plaznyata Passage – you need to walk with your head down – up until the tiny almost round hall – and then through another narrow passage into the big Concert Hall. Everything here is majestic and unique – the Crocodile, the Giant’s head, the Falcon, Santa Claus, the Witch’s house etc. From the big hall – through the iron bridge, the Big and Small Precipices and the Pelmets Passage – you arrive in the beautiful White Hall. In here you can see the Mother-in-law’s Tongue, the Giant’s Wife, the Elephant and the Bathing Lass. The highest point of the cave is called the Seventh Sky – accessible only to the most enthusiastic tourists.
The temperature in the cave varies from –7°С to –15°С, and 8°С in the interior. The air humidity is 92%. Not many animals can be seen: bats, cave beetles, wood-lice, spiders and the unique “Ledenicus” or “Light-hater” insects

Magura Glacier (Lednik Magura `led-nik ma-`gu-ra) is located to the North of M’Kean Point, Livingston Island and is bounded by Falsa Aguja Peak to the W, Helmet Peak and Plovdiv Peak to the N, and Ruse Peak to the NE. It flows southeastward into Bransfield Strait and is named after Magura Cave in Bulgaria

The Trigrad Gorge (Bulgarian: Триградско ждрело [tri`gradsko ?dre`lo]) is a canyon of vertical marble rocks in the Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria`s very southern parts.
The gorge encloses the course of the Trigrad River that plunges into the Devil`s Throat cave and 530 m further comes out as a large karst spring. It laters flows in to the Byunovska River.
The gorge`s west wall reaches 300 m in height, while the east one extends up to 300-350 m. In the beginning, the distance between the two walls is about 300 m, but reaches about 100 m in the north. The Trigrad Gorge is located 1.2 km from the village of Trigrad at 1,450 above sea level and has a total length of 7 km, of which the real part is 2-3 km
